Learn What Lice Are And How To Combat Them With Our Anti-lice Kit
Pediculosis, or the presence of lice on the head, should not be considered something embarrassing. They are not characteristic of any social class or a consequence of lack of hygiene.
What are they?
• Head lice are small wingless insects that live in the hair.
• They are obligate parasites of human beings, which means that to survive they need to feed on human blood, otherwise they will die.
• Lice do not parasitize pets such as dogs and cats.
• Head lice live exclusively in people's hair and in extreme cases, they spread to eyebrows and eyelashes.
• They cannot jump, fly, or walk on other surfaces and are only able to cling to hair.
• Those that can fall on the neck, bedding and even on carpets, sofas, etc. They are damaged and pose little risk of contagion.
Biological cycle
They reproduce by eggs, also called nits, that adhere to the hairs, near the root.
From the nits, approximately a week after they are laid, hatchlings (nymphs) emerge that, although they are smaller than the adults, already feed on the blood they suck through pecks that produce the characteristic itch, a symptom of their presence.
At approximately 17 days, the hatchlings transform into adults who are already able to lay new nits (4 to 8 nits per day) until they die (30-35 days).
The plants added to our shampoo are undesirable by lice because of their bitter taste to them. This will cause the lice to die instantly when applying our shampoo, leaving only the nits to be solved, and that is where our extremely gentle conditioner comes into play.
Our extremely soft conditioner is an activator that will make it easier for nits to be removed easily with the nit comb, which we add one completely free to your complete kit order.
Our anti-lice spray is a tea made from organic plants that have never been fumigated that have grown organically and through studies and a purification process are prepared to make a tea that will help eliminate the nits that have remained stuck to the strand when they hatch at the end of their life cycle, which is between eight to nine days.
The last step and everyone's favorite is our anti-lice and deep moisturizing Vaseline that is made with organic and natural oils. In addition, its aroma has been carefully chosen like all our other products so that children with allergies and asthma can use it without any restrictions.
Each of our products contains its instructions on the back label, but with a lot of love on our website we provide you with broader and more detailed information so that you know each one of them and their benefits.
